How do I remove the speedometer cable from the back of the speedometer? I have the instrument cluster loose but there is not enough slack in the cable to see how it comes off.

i you feell around the speedometer cable where it connects you should find a plastic collar with a slightly raised bit.If you push the collar sideways, it suold unclip and move back allowing the cable to come out.I had the guage cluster out of my car last week
