I am looking at White dual over body stripes. Are they difficult to install? Did they come pre-cut year specific, or was it a roll of material that you had to form. I am not sure as to what width to get, possibly 10" but I don't know. Any suggestions? |
Thanks, it took a while to put em on! They're not really hard to keep clean. No harder than the rest of the car, just make sure if you wipe em down with a towel, use micro fiber. Other towels will scratch them.
They can come model specific, but you can also get them in rolls. They're not exactly hard to install, so much as time consuming. You really have to take your time if you want them to come out right. 10" would be a pretty good choice, they're beefy enough to be really noticed and look good. I'd just suggest get some 10" white stripes, and either get quotes from stripe installers, or make sure you have a lot of time to install them. Make sure you have a squeege to work out bubbles, and have a heat gun/blow dryer to help the stripes around curves. If you decide to install them yourself, let me know if you have any more questions.
