Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I have a question. I bought a 71 mustang convertible and it was missing the boot trim. I bought the boot trim online and got the pieces but am stumped about how to put this on. The chrome molding is over the top of the head of the bolts that screw into the body and I don't see a way to remove just the screw taps.... Am I being dense? Thanks.

not sure what you maen but I think the molding bolts from under side. I have to rechrome mine but I haven't taken them off yet. hyope this helps
