Default New England alignment shop for '66

Where can I get a proper alignment in New England?

I brought my '66 to two shops, both of which didn't have shims and left the upper control arms loose (the first shop was scheduled a week in advance and assured me they had shims, the second was next to my brother's garage where I was forced to pull in to tighten the loose suspension from the first shop). The second shop couldn't begin to explain the measurements on their computer screen ("it does the thinking for you"), excelled at smearing grease all over my new fenders, and ultimately left the upper arms loose after several hours and realizing they don't have shims either.

Where can I find a shop with a good old-timer who is actually prepared with shims and an understanding of whichever equipment he uses?

I'm in MA, but I'd be willing to travel to a competent old-timer. On second thought, a youngster may be able to interpret a computer (THESE old-timers couldn't).

Old-timer with old equipment, youngster with computerized equipment, vice-versa, whoever is prepared to offer a proper alignement:

Hello, it's about 45 minutes from you in Woonsocket, RI. I have been going to these people for 20+ years. They are probably THE MOST HONEST people in business today.

Read this site DazeCars, Understang Mustang Suspension Including Bump Steer and Alignment the performance alignment specs are better on tire wear then what ford said for the car.

When I rebuilt my front end I had trouble finding someone too. I took the car to the local Ford dealer for the alignment. It cost a little more than an independent shop but they seemed to understand how to work on these cars (I guess no surprise going back to Ford). It really comes down to the people working at a place and the equipment they have.

(A local Jeep/Chrysler dealer by me does many of the alignments for other dealers nearby too)
