Default 8 inch rear end ?

will a 66 8 inch ranchero rearend fit in my 66 mustang? will it mount up also will disk brakes off a ranchero fit my mustang spindles?

The Ranchero is at least 2 inches wider, spring centers are at 41 1/4" while the Mustang should be at 43".

The center section (ring and pinion) will swap if u have V8 Mustang.

o okay, Thanks. does anyone know if the front spindles are the same for a disk brake conversion between the 66mustang and 66ranchero? my mustang has drum but I'm looking at a ranchero locally that has disk
