Default help cant figure out AC condenser

i have a 1966 mustang and im trying to install a new ac condenser i have remo0ved the radiator and top AC line but cant get the bottom line off and then cnat remove the condenser i need help big time

Sounds like it is seized. This is a common problem (most folks don't remember to use anti-seize compound on those fittings, and then this happens).

You can try to get it off intact with pb blaster and patience, but my experience is that I end up destroying it at some point, and replacing it.

you can also use a product i have had good luck with. Its calles sea foam fast acting deep creep. I get it from O'Reilly auto parts. I've never used pb blaster before. I've also used candle wax and heat, It works better than any penetrating oil i've ever used. just heat the fitting and touch the candle to it as the wax melts heat again and the wax will "Wick" into the threads. good luck

by the way, i don't know how well the wax method would work on the brittle fittings of the condensor. i'd probably stick with penetrating oil and patience.
