Default new member with a motor problem and transmission question

i have a 1967 mustang fastback with a 390 engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. the other day i discovered the cam was shot and the lifters and the bearings and all the other bearings as well as two of the pistons skirts are broken off amazingly the cylinders look really good and the crank was almost perfect. but to get to my question will the 4 speed from this motor mount up to a 302 with a different bell housingor are the input shafts different for a small block.any help will be greatly appreciated

yes it will, ford back then was good about keeping the same bolt pattern on the bell housing and imput shaft, but to be safe, aways use a new bearing and check it againest your shaft to be sure.
