U would most likely want to get a 600cfm holley carb.I found that holley u can put on car with few adjustments.U will need a 302 4b intake to go with this.

IF you did not bump your HP up dramatically you can also get a 500cfm Autolite 2300 and have some fun and retain some gas miles. Keep the two barrel intake without paying the price for the 4 bbl. And I agree the 600 will do a lot of work if you insist on a four!

600cfm edlebrock, and a 4 barrel intake. I have both that are about 7 months old. I took them off my 302. Went to a stroker. They are in good shape. Clean Like new! $300 for all. Even have a jet kit for the 600. If you want e-mail me. Sul402@aol.com

stay under 600 cfm, your car will start better with much better fuel economy.
i have a 600cfm Edelbrock with a Performer manifold on my 302...tough to start and it eats fuel. (just my opinion).

new carbs require few if any adjustments out of the box...follow install directions and enjoy.
