stay under 600 cfm, your car will start better with much better fuel economy.
i have a 600cfm Edelbrock with a Performer manifold on my 302...tough to start and it eats fuel. (just my opinion

).
new carbs require few if any adjustments out of the box...follow install directions and enjoy.
