Who are the Best Classic Mustang Parts Distributors

Hi I have been a huge Classic Mustang fan for over 20 years and recently have started restoring these wonderful cars. I had a REALLY bad experience with Superior Mustang Parts (Superiormustangparts.com). I ordered and paid for parts. They said two weeks and it's supposedly on the way now 2 months later . Heck I was calling to cancel my order. Anyway I want to know the good and bad stories you have about your parts orders. Who ships quick and good quality. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Be sure to give Virginia Classic Mustangs a try. The sales staff are very professional, and I've always had good service there. Mustangs Plus has more "non-stock" resto-mod items if that is what you need.

Shoot... wish I woulda asked that before I started this whole thing. I've Been restoring a 68 fastback. I've ordered mainly from NPD and Mustangs unlimited. Mustangs unlimited has a habit of sending the wrong parts. I thought that NPD had much better customer service with people who know what they are doing, and they sent all the right parts. NPD did send a bumper that was really scratched and a fuel sending unit with a hairline crack that leaked like a sieve when we put fuel in the tank. It took several weeks for them to get us a new bumper, and I just soldered the sending unit. Other than the bumper, both companies shipping was fast.

Like Brad says......

Like Brad says - give Virginia Classic Mustang a shot
Virginia Classic Mustang - Classic Ford Mustang Parts

day in and day out - they have the best prices on items, and always great service.

If I need something they don't have, I use Mustangs Unlimited or NPD.
If you hook up with a sales guy at MU who will always take your order on his extension#, you will get pretty good service (they are on commission) - NPD is hit or miss. I usually use MU more because when they ship to me from Atlanta I can get parts the next day.

I have been a fan and customer of Glaziers Mustang Barn Mustang Parts, Shelby Parts, and Restoration Services for many, many years. Each order has been precisely correct and the order is always sitting on my front porch within a day or two after the order was placed. They primarily restore our Pony's so they know what they are talking about. There have been times when a problem had me stumped and I picked up the phone and called Glaziers and asked for the shop. One of there techs would pick up the phone and I would explain my problem to him, and he would tell me exactly how to solve the problem in a very courteous manner.
Good luck,
Rich

I've had great experience with NPD and JJ mustang in Chattanooga, TN.

Ray at NPD has always been good to me. He does all the internet orders. They have been very liberal with returns and very friendly with the whole process.

I find their prices reasonable, and they have high quality parts. They are real honest if it's a cheapo repro, or the real thing. I did a lot of orders over the free shipping level so that made it decent.

JJ has a number of 'donor cars' that can provide original things like a sweet 4v intake for your pony!

I have to echo the kudos for Virginia Classic Mustang. Great prices, service, and fast shipping. I have ordered a fair amount of parts from them with no complaints at all.

Myself, and others I work with primarily use NPD. I've been told from the start that NPD has the best customer service and parts. We have also been Johns Mustang out of Houston, Texas. We've been giving them a shot, and so far so good. Of course the Paddock is good as well.
