my brother wrecked his 02 gt and i want to put the motor in my 67 but i dont know if it will fit i have the computer and the wiring harness and im not sure it i will be able to start with just the harness and the computer can i put on a different ignition setup to the computer to crank it

I read once you will have to notch or remove a good portion of the shock towers to get her in.
They make a carb intake for the 4.6 now but you will have to use a Modular type transmission too, the 4.6 has a different bell housing than the older engines.

No it don't fit with out a lot of cutting and welding in a mustang 2 kit the wiring is a nightmare.You'll have to make or buy motor mounts tranny mount a efi fuel tank.To me its not even worth doing i use to be a tech at the ford dealer ship and i hate the mod motors.If your looking for a good set up that's easy on gas the efi 302 and over drive tranny bolt in not not wiring either.

with a welder and a torch just about anything is possible but your gonna need a lot of cash as well. so to be different just may not be worth it. go with a 302

I agree with yellowtonka for the most part. If you don't have a welder and experience fabricating you should not even think about attempting it. However if you have a shop and can do the work yourself its not a bad swap. You don't have to use the mII suspension, I've seen a few people who just notched the shock towers. Its alot of work and if you were just thinking about doing it because the parts were available I'd say dont try it.
