Three options:

Take her to a Ford store and tell them specifically what you want done (don't buy or pay for more than what you want at that time)

Take her to a place that does restoration work on classics/antiques

Take her to a specialized A/C shop

Also

If there is a Mustang club in your area, attend one of the meetings and don't be afraid to ask for help or recommendations or to have someone in the club do the work for you. That was the route I took and got some brake work done before I knew what I was doing. I've also helped people who asked in the same way. All they can say is no.

Well I figured out what the cause was friday.... on my way home from work the sound got worse and I was only 2 blocks away so I just drove it home opened the hood to see the compressor being pulled into my fan. The compressor had 2 of its bolts fall out, and the other 2 stripped out so the whole thing just fell into the fan. I had tried pulling on it and it seemed like it was on the mount real snug earlier when asked if it was loose. Anyhow today I helicoiled the two stripped holes and bolted it back in, I am tempted to do some lock tite on it but I dont know I am just gonna watch it I guess.

I still havent figured out how to fix the throttle though.... I took some more pics to show people, I have by the way gotten the kickdown adapter.
