I guess I thought that the boss and the others were all the same size? If so I have an origional on a 69 mach 1 that I can make any measurements you need. However, if the boss is different I cant help you out.

Both the boss and mach1 used the same spoiler every boss started out as a mach1.

Yes, all rear spoilers were installed the same with the trunk lids all drilled identically regardless of model.

I seem to recall an article a ways back in Mustang Monthly on how to install the spoilers. I think the article had directions/measurements...good luck!

The Spoiler is 57.5" from tip to tip. The mounting brackets are 18" out from the center on both sides. Don't know what you plan on mounting it on but it doesn't sound like a 69' fastback. I have a 67' coupe and installed one on it, here's a couple pictures. It fit like a glove, the down tips match great with the quarter fenders. If you are putting it on an older coupe, make sure you don't place it too far back or the pedestals don't lay flat on the trunk.

P.S. By the way that was the size for a 69-70 spoiler, the 71+ spoilers are different. I don't have that so I can't help you there

Thanks for all the great answers thats what I needed to know. 67 looks cool CiraSkater411. I have afew 65 and 66 coupes. And a 68 fastback that is being turned into a 67 shelby clone. I thinking of putting the spoiler on my new 2008. I dont really like the look of the Parnelli Jones spoiler the pedestals look too fat. try for a boss or mach 1 look to the car.
