Default 1967 Mustang High Beam Indicator Location?

My 67 Coupe is needing a (Texas) state inspection sticker. One of the requirements is that the high beam indicator is working. Mine is not... I have no idea where it is located. The switch itself is on the floor, but where is the actual bulb? I assume the bulb is just burned out- I could trace wiring back from there if I knew the location of it... of course a wiring diagram would be great

Any help greatly appreciated- THANKS....

I believe that the 67 is like the 68. It is in the "Mustang" on the top center of the IP between the speedo and and right hand gauge (tach or combination) Check there.

On the 67 the high beam indicator is a small round hole in the lower center of the instrument cluster. It has a blue colored thin plastic lens that is attached to the back side of the plastic gauge bezel.

The bulb is accessed from the back side of the gauge cluster. It's the only bulb that is directly in the lower center. The bulb is the #1895 which is the same bulb that's used for the gauge illumination. The wire color to the bulb is GREEN/BLACK STRIPE. Any auto part store will carry the bulb. It is clear colored bulb.

You would need to remove the instrument cluster to access the light bulb; and while you're at it, take advantage and check the condition of the remaining bulbs and light filters (the plastic "bubbles" covering the remaining light bulbs; they tend to "degrade" overtime causing the cluster to loose its brightness. If you want to change the apperance of the interior lighting of your pony, there are several different colors of filters (Red, Amber, Blue, etc.)
