1965 Mustang & 1966 Mustang A/C units, are they the same size?

I know the register vents on the A/c units have a different look between the 1965 and 1966 models. My question is: Are they the same size? Can I swap out '65 registers and put '66 registers instead? (Are they smaller?)
If the answer is no, it can't be done, then where can I get a 1966 chrome bezel for a 1966 model?

Hello.

The 66 registers are much smaller than the 65s and are not even close to interchangeable. You would need to swap out the entire faceplate of the evaporator. I couldn't really say where to find one. You would have to check the usual suspects, like these guys
