Default prep work for a body shop?

Hi i have a 66 mustang that i am going to have repaitned but there a few minor problems so i was wondering what are some things i can do so that ill sav some money when i take it to the body shop for final prep.

I would leave all the bodywork to them. You can always remove all the trim and anything else that they would have to.

have it all blasted and primed, and make sure all they have to do is clean and paint

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.

X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.

The prep is long hard and messy and if you don't have the tools id leave it to them.But i would strip all the chrome and any trim off and the head lights and tail lights.

I'm picking mine up from the paint shop tomorrow. I removed everything from the exterior that could be removed. That should save you some money and it will also let you know if you need to replace any bolts. It should knock a good bit of labor off the price.

like msu stated, remove anything you can take off. but leave the prep to them. some shops will not do work behind someone else!
