Question 1966 intake manifold torque specs?

Hi, I wanted to install an original 66 A code cast iron intake manifold and 66 A code 4100 autolite on my 66 289 tonight (carb was rebuilt and intake manifold looks solid).

Also, I have 66 HIPO valve covers I want to install...

I don't have torque specs for either... can someone post them up for me.

Thanks!

One thing to remember is that engineers don't pull bolt sizes out of thin air. They know what clamping force they need. Therefore most 1/4" bolt of similar grade and going into similar materials will torque to the same specs. Same for 5/16" and so on. I.e. look at the bolt diameter and you will have a very close idea of the torque required. Fasteners are much more interesting that they appear. A bit of reading about their design and application will go far in this hobby. For instance some people use lock-washers everywhere out of habit. But you don't see them on rod bolds, do you? There is as severe an application as there is. There is a reason why none are used.
