Default '67 289 V8 DashPot?

Well thank you to all who have offered info & advise so -far... Some of you may be familiar with my "'67 stalls after 30min"- saga that has been been perplexing me (& all who know my car for the last 3 years).
I just now heard of the dashpot, how it works & what it is for, i found some info here- thankfully. Evidently- I don't have one. Could this be the culprit of my engine troubles??
Welcomed input: ".. is it necessary, what would be the stipulations to justify the installation of the dashpot?"
More so- I probably need a check list of everything my V8 is suppose to have after the 6 change-out. I've read the 6 to 8 conversion threads- but not found specifics on what the engine( or PowerPlant) is required to have........

Hello. I just read through the other threads about your car. It would really help if you posted a picture of your engine bay. My thought on this so far would be the first few feet of the fuel line from the carb back is too close to something that is getting hot, like a heater hose, the thermostat housing, etc... and causing a vapor lock condition, but that's little better than a guess at this point. The anti-stall dashpot is just to prevent the car from stalling on sudden decelleration, like when you turn on the A/C and the motor loses a bunch of RPMs all of a sudden. It's absence would not prevent the car from re-starting.

I don't have one, have a 67' with a 289, manual choke, car works fine. I even tried dropping revs real fast to kill it, nada. Pics would certainly give us more to go on.
