Question 1969 Mustang Coupe, why are my door windows loose?

my driver door window is very loose it seems, It moves back and forth about an inch. I feel if i shut the door to hard its just going to fall out. Is this a normal problem with 1969 coupes?

Yes, that's common. The glass is glued in to an alum channel bracket at the bottom. After a few decades, the glue gets brittle and doesn't work any more.

Go to a glass shop an buy some glue specifically for this. DO NOT use clear silicone windshield sealant. Follow the directions carefully, and it will be fixed for another few decades.
