Default Water leaking in to interior. Couple questions

OK. Well, I washed my mustang for the first time and noticed some water leaked in to the car. There is an area on both the front window and rear window that leaks. What do I need to do to fix this? I think I have to take the windshield and rear glass off, re-seal, and re-attach. What have you guys done.

Also, door window seals...I dont think my fastback has any. I am worried about water collecting inside the doors and eventually rusting out. The doors to have this felt material sealing the window to the door, but it is definitely not water tight like new cars are. What can I do and is this a concern?

Thanks

Yeah if you think its your glass that is leaking try resealing it.If its got new glass its thinner then the oem was which can make the gaskets leak.If the felt is old replace it.Your doors should have drain holes in the bottom of them see if they are clear. You could even por15 the inside of the door so it can't rust out.

When you first started asking questions about buying this car, one poster told you to take a water hose and run water into the cowl vent to check the vents for rusted out places. i never did see where yo replied that you had done that. Did you do it? If not, then you might want to run water into the cowl and see if any of it comes out in the floor..Lets hope not and it's just needing some re sealant around the glass.

Yes, I did that and there is nothing leaking in from the cowl. It is definitely only the glass that is leaking and not too much either.
