Default Help with Trani swap

I need help I have a 1966 that was originally a 3 speed I got it in the middle of a C4 conversion and I came across a T-5 trani. I was wondering before I purchase the T-5 if it will fit into my 66. The 66 has a Hipo 289 with a 6 bolt pattern on the engine.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,

I put a T5 in my 67 and did a hydraulic clutch setup. Used to have a cable, but think the hydraulic is the way to go. Several people have done this using off the shelf parts. You can see what I did at,

It's pretty terse right now but does have some photos. I'll be cleaning up the documentation as I get time.
