Default Another 67 hydraulic clutch install

My install page is pretty terse right now but does have some photos. As others have done, I used off the shelf parts.

Hope it's helpful to someone.

Nice writeup!

So rubber lines doesn't adversely effect it?

If you're talking about the line from the reservoir to master, it is what was recommended as brake fluid proof. Some tried to say use fuel line, but I think that actually breaks down in time. I called a place that deals with only tubes and hoses and this is what they said was rated for contact with brake fluid. I think it is also driveway signal hose. The stuff they run across a road to a counter.

Interesting. I was just curious because my car (not the Stang) has hard lines for the hydrolic clutch.

All works well?

All works great. Car is back on the road, clutch works fine. No problems with rubber hydraulic lines, just need to be made for the pressure. Your front brake lines are rubber, right? For me, the flexible line worked out because I made my slave cylinder bracket adjustable. Makes clutch adjustment real easy. As far as the line from the remote reservoir to the master, it has no pressure, so just needs to be brake fluid proof

Very nice write up and good pics. Very helpful. It looks like you have a good understanding of "hot rodding" , most don't. Very clean looking install and fabrication on your part. Kudos.

Just for everyone elses information, We have taken the engineering part out of the equation for you, here are some pics from the hydraulic kit we installed on Nicolas Cage's Eleanor clone car. We offer this to the public as well...no fabrication needed.

We did this along with a TKO installation into the car. This is one bad a$$ car.

Remember, it is almost impossible for anyone, myself included, to diagnose a problem over the internet without seeing the car. My advice is simply that, advice based on years of experience. I don't want you or anyone taking my word as gospel. I am trying to give some direction as to what I think may be happening.
