Hey guys how's it going I have a 1966 mustang with a 302 and a 4 speed manual transmission and I am thinking in getting headers, so what headers would be the best for sound and which ones would fit because I have heard of some headers hitting the linkage so please if you could help that would be great thanks.

I just installed a set of Flowtechs on a 302 c6 combo in my '66. It was a long process with quite a bit of beating and cursing but they are in and sound great. If budget is not an issue I would have put in Hooker headers for sound, but the Flowtechs are fine.

I have a 67 fastback used Headman ceramic coated look awesome easy to install you have to take out the Z bar to install them. good product for the price

I used hooker supercomp headers jet hot coated. I think they fit the best but they do hang down a bit far. I tend to drag on those "mall mountains".

can't go wrong with hooker or hedman, just get tham coated. money well spent!

Used Hedman Shorty Elites (coated) on mine and they worked very well to get around the rack an pinion steering unit I installed. They look and sound great through a 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust system
