Default problems with sequential turn signals

its not literaly a mustang but I might as well see if any one here can help with this. i have a 68 mercury cougar. and the stupid sequential tail lights are ruining my life. the tail lights, brake lights, and hazards all work perfectly but the turn signals dont come on or any thing. then when im running the the hazard flashers(which normaly operate the two front parking lights and the middle bulb in the two tail light assemblies three builbs) I can activate the turn signal any direction and the sequential action will occur with both tail light assemblies at the same time. suddenly im thinking of night rider. but the reason im asking about this problem is I have replaced the turn signal switch in the colum and also purchased a solid state sequencer box from M.U.,(p#.C8WY-13A366-AS) the expensive one that replaces every thing that is hooked up in the trunk. Ive worked the switch over with a ohm meter and its got contenuity. I cant figure out whats wrong with car so if any one can offer advice I would be much abliged. also I would love some one to post a link to some really good 68 wiring schematics

Hello. Here you go. My first guess would be that fuse between the ibnition switch and the turn signal switch, but, that's just a guess. It's a good starting point, anyway. Hope that helps.
