Default Hidden antenna?

I'm thinking of gettin one those antenna's that go across the winsheild so that i can get rid of the stock one does anyone have pro's and con's.
all help would be appreaciated.

Just installed one on my '66 coupe and I'm really not too crazy about it. It works but reception is marginal at best. Unless you live near all your favorite radio stations, and forget about am. I'm now considering a power antenna in the rear 1/4. There only seems to be a couple of hidden antennas out there I'm guessing there about the same. If you find somthing that works please post it.

I have a hidden one about 3 miles outside of town i get nothing but fuzz good thing i got a lot of cds.
