Default Needed rebuild instructions for Holley 1940 dopf-k carburetor

Hello all I am redoing my Holley 1940 carb & took the top off & turned it over & a little brass piece about a 1/4 inch long fell out & the new kit came with out any instructions so I am not sure where that little brass piece or the little ball bearing goes at. I would appreciate it if some one has a picture or could give me some insight. Thanks In advance,Kyle
