Angry 302 4V gets bogged/dies down when floored

My 302 runs and drives around fine unless I try to punch it or burn out. The motor dies, i have to drop it back in to park and it fires right up again. maybe the accelerator valve or a vac. leak? it has a holly carb (not sure how old it is) and the motor is basically stock , i have replaced the fuel filter and fuel line, new plugs and wires, if i leave it in park i can rev it up just fine also it idles great
maybe the timing is off?
thanks eveyone
