Default What is this thing? Lost power to it

Not sure what this thing is. I do know I was using it as the ignition source to turn on/off my radio. Radio stopped turning on, so I found another ignition wire directly from the radio. The wire no longer gets power anymore from the ignition source for whatever reason.

What is the thing with the arrow and why would that wire lose ignition power?

Can you post a picture without the text box. Can you try and get a picture from a different angle. Also, can you give us a list of options & accessories your car has, that way we can try to narrow it down.

There is absolutely nothing behind the text box. The only option that I have is AC. Nothing else that I know of.

Can't really take any pics at other angles because afterall, this is the underside of the dash. No wiggle room anywhere.

Hello there,

The thing in question, near as I can tell from the red arrow, is your windshield wiper motor. Do your wipers still work when you turn them on? It might be that you wiper switch has gone out. Not 100% positive that is your problem, just a thought though.

+1 on the wiper motor. I would check the switch as well to see if the motor still operates properly.
