Default What does the voltage regulator do?
When my car is running All my lights flicker.I was wondering if my voltage regulator has anything to do with my problem.Thanks.

I had that problem with mine & a new regulator cured it.
The lights were pulsing rather than flickering though.

the puurpose of voltage regulator is to limit the alternators voltage to a preset value.
