Is it possible to use a 65 C4 thats hooked to a 200 ci for now ..to be hooked up to a 68 302, or will it grenade the trans the first time i stomp on it.If not what trans should i use,and while i'm on here can someone tell me what rear came in a 65,mine has a rear pumpkin cover on it with 8 bolts,i thought the 8& 9 in. rear housings unbolted from the front.I'm a little pony illeterate, but i'm learnin. Thanks

i think its an 8.8..but im not for sure. and i dont know if the c4 from the 200 will work but i know i have a c4 on my 302 and it works great. if the trannys goodtehn it should be alright
