Question Electrical Help Needed for 1968 Mustang!

Playing with the wires in the picture I attached. I circled problem areas so take a look please. Now my gauges don't work. 68 mustang and haven't checked fuses. Doubt that's it. Need help on if I can replace the circled boxes in the picture I attached. And how to.

Thanks

Looks like a not so much fun hour of cutting and splicing to me

Check your fuses before you get started. Would be a shame to do all this and not have needed to. I really would not want to have to cut and splice all those wires and if you don't have experience with it, consider at least practicing on an extra wire.
Or buy some beer and pizza for a buddy that can do it. But mdps is right, if it needs to be done, then just be patient and go slow - that's a lot of cut + splice to be done.

I would check some of the Classic Mustang source. Some of those plugs and connectors available without harness. If spliced together and ever need to dismantle what a pain. Here is link with some wiring diagrams if of help.
