Default Need assistance on 2 problem rear brake light and inside blower

1) Bulb on pass side tailight works when lights on no brake light though, any simple suggestions on what could cause it to not light up. Already checked bulb installed new one same thing wire look good as well as connections, could there be anything under the dash at pedal or en route to rear?
2) I installed the A/C underdash unit on my sons 65 this morn. Not hookup up or energized yet. Also installed some racing seats and lap belts. I started the car up and the blower on the heater is blowning both on accy or when the car is started, even though the swithch is off. Could I have pulled loose a wire to the switch causing it to run when hot even though the switch is to off? Any help would be appreciated, maybe even a clue as to what colors the switch wires are?...Thanks....Mo

Check wiring in the trunk between the two lights. The wiring goes to the driver side first then to the pass side. Most likely it's the hot wire. The ground serves both running light and brake light.

The blower motor gets a ground through the switch - the motor is hot any time the accessories are energized. The power goes through the motor to the resistor to the switch. It sounds like it is grounded between the motor and the switch.

Default blower on with switch off

Paul any clue as to the wire I need to be looking at? I do not have a wiring schem to go off of. I did install the underdash unit so it is possible that may have pulled a wire loose unknowingly. How hard is it to take off the chrome control plate to check the wires?...thanks...Mo
