Default roller rocker noise

Is there a valve cover that will help reduce the noise from roller rockers. They are proform rockers 1.6 on my 289. My engine builder says they are adjusted properly and some noise is expected. Any suggestions, thanks

roller rockers are noiser than stock. a good cast aluminum valve cover will help some, but not all.

They will make noise and you will get used to it and not notice it, eventually. I have cast aluminum valve covers and can still hear the rockers.

It's probably worthwhile to make sure the rockers aren't banging against the valve covers. I have roller rockers on mine, but the covers wouldn't even begin to fit, so I had to buy a 1 1/2" spacer for them. It's possible they may be scraping just a little bit.

Thanks for the response. I might give the alum covers a try. But you all are right I'm getting used to the noise.
