Default which new steering box?

Im looking at getting a new steering box for my 67 fastback, with power steering, and im wondering how do i know which one i need. i see there is a 1" and a 1 1/8" sector shaft and 6" or 42" steering shaft and i have no idea what i have currently. how can i find out?

The easiest thing to look for is a "rag joint" under the master cyl
If you have a round piece of rubber joining the upper part of the column to the box you have the later version which is the larger sector shaft and 6 inch input shaft

In late 67 they went to a collapsible steering colume with the rag joint for safety reasons. I don't know the exact date they switched over.
