Default 1966 Mustang inline 6 new carburetor question

I'm thinking of getting a new carb for my 1966 coupe, and have read mixed reviews about Pony Carburetors. I'm scared to buy one and end up having a problems, from what I've read you don't want to have to deal with the company. What other options are there out there for a new and improved carburetor for a cold climate car.

My friend delt with Pony Carbs and he didn't have any problems. In fact they were extremely nice to him, and he is a 17 year old kid. He sent them his carb to have it rebuilt because it was leaking petrol onto his engine. Well, they called and told him that the carb he sent in was not correct for his 69, that it was from a 73. For no additional cost, they replaced his with a rebuilt 69 carb. When he got it, it wasn't damaged and it was correctly tuned. We put it on, hooked it up, and his car fired up almost immediately. I am looking at getting their improved design 1 barrel carb, because I haven't heard about any problems with them.
