Default 1967 Mustang interior information

Hello, I have had a 1967 mustang coupe for a while, until recently I did not have the funds to fix it, now that I am ready I have a few questions. When I got the car it had already been taken apart by the previous owner since this is my first mustang restoraton I need some information on what different parts of the interior are called and where they go. There is supposed to be everything in it for the interior but I have no clue where to start.

thanks

Welcome to the forum!

You need to post photos of your interior or at least tell us where you are starting before we can help you.

Initially, I'd at least start with new carpet.

What I mean is I have a lot of old parts in the car and I don't know where they go. I just need a parts list detailing what part is what and where it goes.

Ok, for that you will want to get some reproduction manuals. Ford originally gave the shops a series of manuals on where everything went and what its part number is. You will want the 67 series. It consists of a Body Assembly Manual, an Interior Assembly Manual, Electrical Assembly Manual, Weld & Sealent Assembly Manual, Chassis Assembly Manual, and an Engine Equipment Assembly Manual. Each of them cost about $15, but because you are starting with the interior, you could just buy that one, and then as you move on to the next project or have the funds, buy the next manual you would need. Then there is the 1967 Ford Shop Manual. This is like the holy bible of your cars restoration. It tells you how to fix just about everything on your car.

I'd agree that the books would help a lot.

Do you have a digital camera? If yes, take some photos and post them here and we can help identify the parts.

Do you think they are they interior parts?
