Default Mustang Plus no Rear Anti Roll Bars?

Hi:

I have a Mustang Plus catalog, and while the catalog still lists rear anti roll bars as part of their suspension kits, on their website the kits no longer include these rear bars. I called them this morning about this, and was told it was because of oversteer problems and interference with dual exhausts-----has anyone experienced either of these problems with the rear bars? One thing I definately think our cars could use is less understeer which (I think) usually can be cured with rear bars. Doesn't a larger front bar actually increase understeer? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
/s/ Chris Kennedy

We have the M+ rear sway bar installed and it does have a tendency to to over steer. It will power slide under control with gas applied in a turn. Just need to remember not to lift off the gas in an aggressive turn. It also makes the rear end stiffer and it tends to feel like it skips sideways on a bumpy turn. Still playing with it...
We have the Shelby side exhaust so the pipes going over the rear end was not an issue.

Wow---thanks for the information. You might want to try going to a small bar with rubber bushings. Incidentally, what do you think of the Shelby exhaust?

Thanks,

I like the Shelby side exhaust. I posted pics in your other thread. The Leno video is what it sounds like except mine is not as loud as his
The H pipe made it sound different (better).

Ahhh! Sorry to bother you, again. I did watch the Leno video. Gosh, what fun.

No bother at all!
It must be good to be Leno. He has the money and passion for cars that most of us can only dream about. It was cool that he took the time to wave back to the people in the car that passed him.

What's good, too, is that he seems to be a fan of all the cars I like, as well. For example, I spotted his Ford GT during the video. The Ford GT 40 is, bar none, my absolute FAVORITE car of all time.
