Hello. I bought a new ignition switch and spacer recently and when I went to put it in, i noticed that when I turn it to START, it doesnt spring back to ON. Did I get a bad switch or am I just stupid?

Sounds like you don't have the key cylinder in correctly or something -
Some of the new switches are really junk.

I had the same problem with a replacment ignition lock. I found that trere were some burrs or casting flash on the lock that was hanging the switch. Sorry I can't remember exactly what was wrong, but I know that I had to fuss with the lock before it work freely. Try removing the lock and see if the switch works correctly.
