Default Shelby drop on 1966 Coupe

Does anyone know where I can get a template for the shelby drop? I'm in Houston, TX so if I could find it in town that would be great and save me some time.I'm completing it on my 1966 coupe, anyone have any suggestions? How much should one of these cost?

I have a link to a place where you can buy a metal premade template if you're not confident making your own, but the webpage is bookmarked on my work computer. I'll post it tomorrow for you.

Default shelby drop on 1966 coupe

thanks. I'm planning on doing the installation tomorrow after work. I just have one question that I want to be sure that I get right. The template that they show says driver's side, I can just flip it over and use it on the passengers side right?

I would presume, but I haven't done the drop yet, so I don't know for sure. Let us know how easy it was. I'm planning on doing this during the winter when I don't mind my car not being on the road.

Take the easy route.........order a catalog from Tony D Branda, here in Altoona,pa...........he's a Mustang& Shelby parts dealer, his catalog has a template for the lowering.it works great for atrack car,but it's kinda hard on a street car's tires.
