Default traction bars again.

This is the month of problems. First brakes, now steering.
My car is feeling like it's got gremlins in the rear suspension. The front is tight, alligned...and alligned again. But the rear of the car has this strange feeling, like it's swerving a tiny bit. You feel it worse in turns, but on a straightline, at highway speeds, the rear feels weird. I'm sure it's coming from the rear, and I can't figure out what it is. My springs are new (5 leaf), my shocks are Konis, adjusted quite stiff (about half way). It feels as if something in the chassis has come loose. Everything visible has been tightened down. The u bolts under the axel are tight. There maybe a little space in the spring eyebolts, but the kits are new, and they come that way. The tracktion bars are old...and the nuts look like they are not dead center...I guess I need to pull them off..but is there anything a tracktion bar could do to cause those kinds of problems?
If anyone has any other wild guesses?

I guess it could be that, but what about a sway bar? Check and make sure it didn't come loose if you have one.

may be too easy, but check your tire pressure? one side may be a little squishy. i cant see it being the traction bars. it would be pretty easy to take them off and find out though.

What kind of traction bars? Shelby style or slappers? Make sure that the leaf spring alignment bolt is aligned with the hole on the axle bracket and the traction bars. The alignment bolt on mine was not long enough to center on the aftermarket slapper bars which allowed the rear end to move around about a 1/4 inch either way. Kind of like the sensation of driving on ice all the time!

This is the sensation I have.
What did you do to get rid of it?

make sure your leaf springs are aligned with the hole of the spring plates. tighten everything down when the car is fully loaded on the ground or lift.
