Default 1969 Mustang coupe 302 one tire burnout (vid attaced

Whenever i floor it on my 1969 mustang, it seems like only one of my tires are getting all the power. The passenger side is the side that has smoke coming from the tires, where as the driver side has none. Any ideas as to how i can fix this?

The engine is a 302 with stock suspension.

Your rear end is what causes it. Right now it has what is called a "Conventional" differential. To get both tires spinning, you need a limited slip differential. You can buy them from most classic Mustang parts suppliers. Here is a link to a mustangs unlimited search for slip differential. You can get either limited slip or no slip. http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/key...p+differential

the no slip is just what it says no slip, both tires are locked together. you probably want the limited slip, which unlocks when you go around turns, this is a good thing because your tires will last longer, i wouldnt go with a no slip application unless you plan on doing lots of drag racing.

You will be really happy with a posi traction. It's a great feeling when both tires are digging instead of one. Get stuck a time or two and you will see the advantage of a posi.

So i think im gonna go with a limited slip. That will still give me positraction right?

Yep, positraction means both wheels spin. As for which one, that depends on what size rear end is in your car and how many splines it has.
