Question Sanding 1967 Mustang Scoops?

I am having a really hard time trying to sand the scoops on my 67. Other areas like the ridge around the doors and the place under the trunk lid are also hard to sand. Is there anybody that can give me any advice on what tools to use here or how to sand it? Also how do you take the glass out of the car both the quarter windows and the front and rear windsheilds and how do you put them back in

thanks

Take a look in the yellow pages for a supplier to autobody shops that will sell retail. You can get all kinds of spiffy little sanding aids for those weird places.

Get a wooden rod or even a old broom handle cut it down to about a foot wrap your sanding paper around it.Or get a red scrub pad those work in tight places. The side glass you take the door panels off and unbolt it.The front and back glass you need a tool to remove the trim and i would let a pro take those out for you.Reason being if its factory glass its best not to break it replacement glass is not as thick.

AirCraft brand paint remover, and cover all teh skin you dont wnat to be on fire, that is by far the easiest and most thorough way to remove the paint, primer and gunk. It works well if you put it on thick and use a small toothbrush thype wire bursh. I like the spray on versus the spread on because to me it works better. Scrub with the wire brush and hose it off - boom youre done!
USE gloves, safety glasses, long shirt and pants or you can really hurt yourself with any of these strippers - paint strippers I mean.
