Default Can you use a T-5 or T-45 drivetrain from 1994-1998 in 65-70 Conversion ??

I might have an opportunity to get a complete drivetrain from a 1994-1998 GT. Can I use the 94-95 T-5 or 1996-1998 T-45 in my 1967 Mustang ?? Are there bellhousing issues ?? Would manual trans from 1999-2004 work also ?? Any input would help greatly. Thanks

the 94/95 t5 would be ideal

it'll put your shifter back 3/4 of an inch or so further back than the 85-93 t5's do. I'm not sure if it bolts right up to the existing t5 x members out there or not.

you can swap the input to the fox length one, then use a fox bell housing on that t5.

the t45 won't work. it's too heavy, and obsolete anyhow. they used it for only a few years, and it's a hunk of crap in stock form.

HOWEVER, keisler makes a conversion kit to use the t45 in a classic, but that's sure as hell the route I wouldn't go

Only the t5 would work the t45 won't the mod motor uses a different bell housing pattern. How much power your looking to make and how much your looking to spend?Over 350hp you need to beef up the t5 or go to a tko.
