Here's another vendor that specializes in the Ford six banger. www.classicinlines.com and a tech site www.fordsix.com . If you aren't wanting to spend a lot of money, get a single exhaust header. Just use a larger than stock diameter pipe. That's all these engines really need and the performance isn't really going to suffer using a single exhaust. Use a 2 1/4" pipe and go with your choice of FlowMaster muffler. It doesn't need to be transverse mounted like the stock application. Mount it inline with the muffler just in front of the rear axle. There's room for it to fit like you will see on one side of a V8 dual exhaust. (Yours will go on the passenger side) You should be able to locate a prebent tailpipe for your application. You don't want to go too large, though, because you will lose exhaust flow velocity which helps with exhaust scavenging. The folks at Clifford or Classic Inlines should be able to give you advice.
