Default Recipe for your Disc Brakes and Rear Diff Please

Hey folks, I am building a daily driver 67 coupe, originally a 6 cyl, but will end up a V8. I have the original CA06 Spindles and that's about it. I want to go with 15" Rims, 5 lugs all the way around, disc up front and possibly the 8.8 rear diff w/disc brakes in the back. I think vacuum assist brakes would be great, but manual discs would be fine too. I would also like to widen the track just a little (bring the tires out closer to the fender sides....

My Questions - Who's got a similar set-up and give me some details like...

Rear diff width from wheel mounting surfaces
15" wheel size with offset and/or spacers
Tires sizes
Front disc brake set-up
Anything else you can think of.

Thanks in advance,

Default Forgot to Mention

Forgot to mention that I will be using the CSRP Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit...
67-69 Mustang Disc Brake Swap
which should replicate the stock set-up.

Just a plug for the CSRP kit, it seems to be very complete and lower in cost than most "catalog kits". I'll be getting it in the mail next week.

I can give you some heads up on front wheel sizes. I have a '67 Coupe and did the 1" Shelby/Arning drop and 1" 560 lowering springs, this put my tire tread almost level with my fender lip.

I have TT D's 15X7 with 3.75" backspace and 225/60/15 tires. My fenderlips rubbed the bulge of the tire enough to slice it slightly. I rolled the fenders and now they clear. I think if I would have gone with a rim with 4" bs or with 215 tires I would have just cleared w/o rolling the fenders.

If you use a rim with a shallower bs and a spacer to push the tire out to meet the fender then you at the same spot and will simply be adding a spacer just to have different rims, you'd need longer wheel studs also. Most people who need spacers are using the newer mustang 16" or 17" rim which has a shallow bs.

Can't help you on the rear as i have a 9" now and it lined up the same as the front.
