Question FMX Transmission Diagnosis Low Pressure?

I have a 1975 Ranchero with an FMX Transmission and I know its not a Mustang but this forum has been a great source of info for my car. My transmission is slow to go into gear in first and reverse and it will slip in reverse and on deceleration in first only. It will compression brake in second and third but not first. Reverse doesnt slip bad but can't go uphill for example. I have a 3000rpm converter and shift kit behind a 411ci M motor with cleveland heads. It has been rebuilt within last 2k miles and has never had a problem before rebuild with same converter. I had converter rebuilt also and it has an extra transmission cooler routed after the stock radiator cooler. Could this be a problem? Does this sound like pressure or gearband adjustment problem? I am considering replacing transmission cooler hard lines to radiator because they got a bit bent when motor was drppoed in last time. Thanks for the help in advance!

If the cooler lines are kinked, it could be a problem. I'd get that fixed first and then see where you are.

Well lines are replaced and goes right into gear but reverse still slips and first gear has no grip in deceleration. 2nd does have decleration as does third. First gear does not slip in forward motion either. Any ideas?
