1967 Heater, A/C hole I'm looking for creative suggestions or anyone that has had to deal with this issue in the past.
I have a 1967 FB that originally had A/C installed. Over the years things go missing and it currently does not have A/C. The are a few holes created when you have A/C installed, two in particular are the drain hole in the floor near the tunnel and the oval opening in the firewall. I have a plug that deals with the floor hole but I'm looking for ways to deal with the oval opening next to the fan hole.
My first thought is to cut a similar shaped piece of sheet metal, paint it black and use a screw in each end to block it.
Has anyone had to deal with this before? I should say the car is nearly done so it has the interior and engine etc. already installed.
Thanks for any help.
Ron
