[Mach1Corky]

Hey guys I have my 1971 mach 1 and I know that it was in an small wreck back in about 1979 and had some parts replaced but I cant get this mach 1 grille to go in, I bought the car without the grille and im thinking that a 73 grille would almost be a perfect fit but I have all the chrome and everything in this one! any ideas how to fit it in? one problem is the latch swings out way to the left and pushes the grille out of the way, here are some pics, and if a 73 grille will fit better can I use the chrome off the other grile?

I believe the '71 chrome strips and clips are the same so you can change the chrome over. But before you do that, bend the hood latch mechanism down and to the right and then see if it will fit into the grill slot without any problems.
