Can I ask a really vague question, without insulting you?

Why would you want to put that engine in a Fox Body car? You can get just as much power, with a lot less weight and a better fit out of a 347 or even a 351w swap. Even a 460 has been put in many of them.

I don't even think there are any mounts or K member kits for an FE into a Fox Body.

If you insist, you are going to need a transmission with a big block bolt pattern, most likely a C-6 if using an auto.

Yeah, would be an interesting swap, but that engine would be better in a Cobra replica, or old Stang...stroke that 302 to 331 and then try to wipe that smile off your face.

I would sell the fe and spend the money beefing up what you have now.Or look in to a turbo kit for it.

yeah I have been looking into heads, intake and cam combos for my 302 instead. I am going to save the 427 for a future street rod project. any idea what the best kit/combo is?

I'm going to get the Edelbrock Top End Kit. I've been thinking piecing it together and maybe save a couple bucks but I was adding things up that maybe I'll end up paying more, such as extra for gaskets, timing belt, etc. The Top End Kit for 1880 or something like that comes with the cam, heads, lifters, bolts, intake, all the gaskets, timing belt, get a $25 dollar rebate on the Edelbrock intake in that kit, PLUS you get 2 aluminum/chrome Edelbrock Valve Covers for free!!

I just did a google of your year (totally didn't see the year at the top) and it showed the link I posted from JEGS and Summit (Edelbrock 2091 - Edelbrock Power Package Top-End Kits - Application - SummitRacing.com) and still is the same part number. Guess the only difference is you're running an EFI and not Carb. Doesn't come with a carb btw. Call them up. I've read and received lots of feedback that this kit is really good.
