The C5DA-6394-A fits a 1965-67 289 6 bolt block. All I can say for sure about the other is about a 1975 casting, but i believe that it is also for a 6 bolt block.

Did a Google and found this but have no idea of any differences. This guy was changing from the five bolt housing to the six bolt

The following part numbers are of aluminium 6-bolt bell housings which you can use with the 10 1/2" clutch:

C5DA - 6394 - A

D20A - 6394 - AA

D5DA - 6394 - AB (swap clutch arm pivot from old 5-bolt bell housing)

Thanks I have a 68 302 windsor and C4 auto in a Mk 1 ford capri which I am changing to manual,I only have enough room in the tunnel to use a 157 tooth bellhousing.
Idealy a cable setup would be great as i already have all the cable stuff that originally came out of it, but finding one of them especially in Australia in near impossible.
So I have been looking on ebay USA and have seen the two different cast numbers but they both say they are for the same application,so before I buy one I was wondering what the difference would be.

Don't believe a cable set-up will work with those bellhousings. They are made for the mechanical linkage that pushes the clutch fork rearward. Think you need one from a later T-5 where the cable pulls towards the front.
