Default 1966 Mustang Radiator Replacement?

So, my 66 coupe has a 302 in it, which obviously isn't orignal. I need to replace the radiator, the one in it failed a compression test. I ordered a new one from my parts store, and they're getting one that would fit in a 67 or 68 with a 302. Will this radiator fit in my mustang without any adjustments?

the 65 and 66 have a 17" wide radiator in them. Most of the 67 ad 68s had a 20" wide. It will fit but you may need to cut your core support a little to get all of the core exposed. I have a friend here with a 65 coupe that had overheating issues and he put the 20" 68 radiator, it works great.

Here is my write up with pictures from when we upgraded to a 20 inch aluminum radiator on the 66. Mustang Steve no longer has the radiators available though.

As 66mustang86 said, a 3 row 17" radiator will do the job. Make sure you have a shround too. With the 17" radiator, you would not have to do any cutting to install. The 20 inch radiator would also use different hoses.
